Why EBC? Despite a seemingly high level of language ability, miscommunication in English and the lack of a clear, direct message in English is a frequent occurrence among Israelis. Many opportunities are missed unnecessarily due to misused words, cultural differences, and one's general lack of clarity in a second language. EBC was created in order to provide the support and professional standards necessary for Israeli executives to communicate successfully and efficiently in today's international business community. About Andrea: A native New Yorker, Andrea is an experienced lecturer of Technical English at the Technion, Israel's top technology institute, and possesses a Master's Degree from Columbia University in NYC and a Certification in the Teaching of English as a Second Language from International House in London. Prior to establishing EBC, she was responsible for marketing and sales, nationally and internationally in her position as Program Director for the Ready Steady Move! the language through movement program she developed for Helen Doron Ltd, a multi-national company. She has over sixteen years experience in the field of English as a Second Language. |
